SR-7 Reconstruction

SR-7 is one of the major North-South corridors in South Florida. It serves as relief to I-95, is an emergency vehicle route to Jackson Memorial Hospital, and a highly congested commercial area.

Bolton Perez & Associates (BPA) was awarded a two-project contract for improvements to this prominent corridor.  The first section, the North Project, includes the resurfacing from NW 36th Street to NW 79th Street and includes ADA and drainage improvements and the removal of an existing 8” concrete pavement from the roadway. This project has an estimated construction cost of $6.1 M.

The South Project includes the complete reconstruction of SR-7 from NW 8th Street to NW 36th Street, including the installation of an 8” sanitary sewer and 16” water main.
